Letsebe SejoeIndependent Non-Executive Director

Letsebe is the Chief Executive of Botswana Investment & Trade Centre (BITC), Botswana’s investment and trade promotion agency (IPA). He also served as Chief Operations Officer at BITC. In his previous role he served as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of former Botswana International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) and as Business Support Services Manager at Standard Chartered Bank Botswana.
At BITC, Letsebe heads the institution that drives economic growth through the attraction of FDI, domestic investments and also drives the growth of the country’s exports. His work also includes the facilitation of a competitive national investment framework to foster greater economic activity.
Letsebe also has extensive experience in advising IFSC client companies on the Botswana IFSC tax incentive framework and its optimal application to regional and international business strategies. Letsebe has led several projects to establish diverse financial services companies in Botswana’s international financial centers including HQ or Intermediary Holding companies, Pan-African private equity funds and Re-insurance activities.
He serves as a Director on the Boards of Motswedi Securities, a Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) accredited member broker, Special Economic Zones Authority (SEZA) and previously served on the Board of Botswana Fibre Networks (BoFiNet).
